Lifetime Limited Warranty

We proudly use HiTek Film and Union Film, both of which come with a Lifetime Limited Manufacturer Warranty for added peace of mind. All window tint installations performed by Sweetwater Shade using HiTek Film and Union Film are backed by a Lifetime Limited Manufacturer Warranty. This warranty remains in effect for as long as the original owner retains ownership of the vehicle on which the film was installed.

This manufacturer's warranty covers defects in the film material, including but not limited to:

  • Bubbling

  • Peeling

  • Cracking

  • Delamination

  • Fading or discoloration

Coverage applies only under normal use conditions and in accordance with the manufacturer’s care and maintenance guidelines.

Exclusions & Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, vandalism, or misuse

  • Scratches, abrasions, or other physical damage

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper cleaning methods or the use of abrasive materials

  • Failure or damage caused by defroster lines, windshield wipers, sharp objects, or aftermarket modifications

  • Installations altered or removed by third parties

  • Vehicles that have changed ownership

Labor, removal, and reinstallation costs may not be covered by the manufacturer and may be subject to service fees.

Warranty Claims

Proof of original purchase is required for all warranty claims. Sweetwater Shade reserves the right to inspect the film prior to approving any warranty-related replacement or repair.

We will assist customers with determining eligibility and facilitating claims with the manufacturer; however, all final warranty determinations are made by the film manufacturer.
